Falmouth KinderVillage

Falmouth KinderVillage is a uniquely designed preschool program for children ages 4 and 5. As experienced teachers of young children and parents ourselves, we created this program in response to a need we saw in our community: a shortage of high quality programs for older preschoolers and those children who may need an extra year of readiness before kindergarten, due to either a late birthday or perhaps more time for social and emotional development before starting Kindergarten.

We believe strongly in the value of play as the most critical component of meaningful, long term learning.  We also understand the demands of modern day Kindergarten and work diligently to infuse opportunities for language, literacy, and number development into each child’s play time. Additionally, we structure time into each day to work in teacher-led small groups, as well as provide whole group opportunities for learning.  

Children must be 4 on or before October 15th of the year enrolled.  We operate as a four day program on Mondays-Thursdays from 8:30-3:00.  Depending on the age of the child at enrollment, some families may choose to have their child complete a second year of our preschool program.
